I think they are holding onto their pants, so they dont fall down while they are rocking and raping back and forth. and then others saw it, and just put their hand there becasue they think "oh he is, so i will"

I think they do this because it's the "in" thing to do. If you ask me, I believe it's more of a show. They probably think it gets the girls all hot and bothered - Wrong.

LOL! Yeah, my mom realized that and I was like, "Yeah, you're right, why DO they do that?" I think it's the rapping look, and they do it when they're rapping to look cool. It's kinda stupid in my opinion but a lot of rappers do it. Like when they have baggy pants, they hold their pants.

That's a good question. My mother always wondered the same thing as well. Maybe it's because they think they're "cool" and "hot" when they do that. Or, their pants could be falling down and they decide to pull them up that way - since most guys have really baggy pants. They could also do that because they're adjusting some things "down there" :)
