i need advice
i was cleaning my sons ears with some q tips and noticed some small amounts of blood on it i feel so bad and scared should i be scared blz help concerned mom

Ok you must ell a doctor! This may not be severe or it may be. Please be a good and brave mom and ask a doctor. This is an important health issue of your son.

i don't think it's anything you have to worry bout and you can clean the inside of your ears cause it's just gross to see the poepl wiht wax coming out of thier ears just don't go in too far. He alos might have cut a lil cut in his ear and you picked the scab so it bleed. I don't think you or your son has to worry! but if it gets worst go to your dr. HOPE I HELPED

first off, you shouldnt use q-tips they can break their skin, i just learned that today in health.
its fine unless if blood is like flowing out of the ear, he has plenty of blood its no problem
if the problem continuies, then consult your docter.
P.s. use a textured towel to clean his ears. DO NOT LET HIM STICK ANYTHING UP HIS EAR!

That's what happens when you use Q-tips. You are not supposed to use them inside the ear, only around the outer edges. I'm sure he will heal, because the same thing happened to me and I am fine now, but from now on don't use them. Use ear drops instead.

You could have hit a sore or something in his ear. But just to be on the safe side, call the doctor or take him in. Just to take extra precautions.

You should take your son to the docter to see what they say it could just be sum dry skin in there that he has been picking at and maybe made a sore spot and mabe a scab and it bleeded so take him to the docter i hope i helped you!XoSmRoX

Depends on where in his ear you were cleaning. You should never put a q tip down inside an ear. If that is what happened then a trip to the doctors office or at least a call is what you need to do.
If you were cleaning around the outside part of his ear, it could be he had a sore there that you knocked the top off of or something.
Unless he is screaming blue murder it is probably nothing real serious. Still, to be on safe side call his pediatrician. :)

Of course its ok to be scared! He is your son, and you should be! Dont be worried hun, just take him to the doctor right away and I'm sure he/she will be able to tell you whats wrong. Good Luck!
