Heyy<3 Umm. yeah I don't think its from your hair being wet cause I never ever blow-dry my hair I always let it dry by its self and I never get headaches. Umm.. I also have an iPod and my mom once said to me that if you have it to loud you can go DEAF so she said that you at least have to hear someone talking to you when you are listening to your iPod. You might just get headaches from a lot of noises through-out the day.

IPod's can do it if you listen it for longs periods of time on full blast. Also, make sure you get plenty of sleep. Other than that, I don't think not blowdrying your hair will do it. Hope i helped!

Hundreds of things cause headaches. An ipod could be the problem if the headaches started about the time you got it. Could be to loud or just causing tension in your neck.

Playing video games or the computer can also cause headaches.

I've never heard of blow dryers helping you not to get a headache. I know you can blow them in your ear if you have an earache...maybe that's what they were thinking of. :)

....

No. Wet hair does not cause headaches.

Whoever told you that myth needs to be punched in the kidneys.

hmm well, if you dont really eat much during the day, and then eat alot at one period, that would cause headaches. and headphones deff cause headaches because of the music for so long. keep taking medicene like advil. start yourself on pain management and take 2 every 4-6 hours or so.

GDROB answered Saturday September 17 2005, 10:12 pm:
Headaches happen for a variety of reasons but I never heard not blowdrying hair as one or a leading cause. Trust me, if that caused headaches there would be a ginat surge in the amount of hair drying devices bought. That's nonsense hun, from whoever told you.

You should get your eyes checked though as straining to see what you cannot all the time can cause it. You also should see a doctor about it and see what they say. In an extreme case where they cannot figure it out a CAT-SCAN can and will. Relax, people have headaches for all kinds of reasons--we just need them to figure out what triggers yours. Go to the professionals.
