I love football but I don't really understand it. Could someone break it down for me not all long and stuff but shirt and simple? I'll rate you 5's thank you!
In pro football you have to know the Giants. Now the Giants since their recent winning of the NFC East conference have surpassed the Packers for most divisional wins in NFL history, the Giants have 17 players in the Hall of Fame and they produced the GREATEST defensive player of all time- none other than Lawrence Taylor, LT no.56 1981-1993 and the 1986 NFL MVP with 132.5 career sacks (not counting the 9 sacks he got in his rookie season of 1981 before the sack became an official record) he's the latest Giant inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999. This is all you have to know :-) [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]

shrink2be answered Saturday September 17 2005, 10:41 am: haha alright.
you got offense and defense.
offense trys to run the ball down the field while the other teams defense trys to defend their area, and not let the offense get through to get the ball in the end zone to score.
the quarterback hikes the ball, and should have a really good arm to throw the ball to some one,
the tight ends, are the outside players. they are usually massively huge to like, run over people,
the line men, are the inside players. they are usually pretty big too, just in case the other team wants to run through the middle of the field.
blink22dogg answered Saturday September 17 2005, 12:19 am: You gotta get the kick the ball off, and the other team has to catch the kickoff.
on offense the object is to get the ball to the opposite endzone with 4 plays (downs) every 10 yards. when you get passed 10 yards it's called a first down and you have 4 more downs.
if you don't reach the other side, most times you would punt. The opposite team then gets to be on offense and the object of your team is to now keep your opposition from scoring. hit the ball-carrier so they can't make it to the endzone.
thats my short explanation [ blink22dogg's advice column | Ask blink22dogg A Question ]
