Hey everyone, I'm a high skool student that likes sports, friends, family, and gets pretty good grades. I set high standards for myself and I hope to help any of you with some of my advice. A lot of people tell me I give good advice so I hope I keep it that way!

I love football but I don't really understand it. Could someone break it down for me not all long and stuff but shirt and simple? I'll rate you 5's thank you! (link)

You gotta get the kick the ball off, and the other team has to catch the kickoff.
on offense the object is to get the ball to the opposite endzone with 4 plays (downs) every 10 yards. when you get passed 10 yards it's called a first down and you have 4 more downs.
if you don't reach the other side, most times you would punt. The opposite team then gets to be on offense and the object of your team is to now keep your opposition from scoring. hit the ball-carrier so they can't make it to the endzone.
thats my short explanation

Hello. My name is Ali and I am running for President of my Freshmen class. I am having a lot of trouble with making the speech. I dont know what to say and it has to be 2 minutes long. Can someone help me? (link)

well see at my school short right to the point speeches are best. say something like 'hey I'm Ali and i'm running for president of our freshman class' and maybe sumthing that describes you then close with "vote for me". should take about 20 seconds

jump roping really helps footwork for tennis. you get down the footwork and soon you'll be all set.
uhh u should work on explosiveness too. for this you can do a lot of sprints, especially working on the start or the "explosion" of your run.
try doing progressions, which are starting from the sideline of the court and touching the first line of the court and coming back to where u started and continue to do every line of the court.. hard to explain with typing. theres a lot more drills i know but kinda tuff to explain over net.
hope i helped

hey bud, I'm not much of a reader, but the book Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier is a great novel in my opinion. About a civil war soldier who deserts to go home to his lovely girlfriend. Try it out, i think you'll like it.

alright, i'm hoping to start tennis this fall (its my first of high school). the only problem is that i know i'm going to have a physical to play on the team. well this is super babyish, but i am scared to DEATH of shots. so i was wondering what do they do during a physical? i know they weigh you and measure your height but is that all? i'm almost positive i'm going to need a tetnis shot :( , but do they have to prick my finger or anything? and one more thing, is there any way to get around getting the shot?
thank you so much!

Hey bud. Thats sweet u wanna do tennis! great sport.. but ne wayz, shots CAN be a part of your physical. If you are overdue on your tetnis shot, you need to get one in order to be involved with tennis. Now, as far as the shot, I just got mine a few weeks ago, and let me tell you i was scared as well. The tetnis shot is in your arm and it is a tiny bit painful. BUT, just think of the shot as one small hurdle to pass before you go on to have ALOT of fun playing tennis! Good luck!

school is startin and so is football
I really dont care for football im all basketball and a little track
i played football for 3 years and didnt really like it. but al my friends want me to play

Hey bud, Im in the same boat. I dont really like football all that much, but you know what? its a great sport to get you in shape and ready for sports like basketball and track. By doing football, you'll be one step ahead of the other basketball players on the opposing teams (at least fitness wise). Plus, you'll have friends on the team and football is nothin without friends. Hope i helped ya bud.
