Question Posted Saturday September 10 2005, 11:40 pm
For some reason my boobs are pointy, I have had boobs for a long time, but they have always been pointy. I am now 13, and is this normal, and is there anything I can do about this. Another thing I need to know is, is there other who have this problem to??? My mom told me she had the problem to and after she had me that her boobs got round. I think the reason why they are pointy is cuz I have know fat under the, its like its not round there. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???

You are only 13, still have plenty of time to grow (and trust me, you're going to still be growing in a few years). Even if you still have "pointy" boobs when you're 20, it doesn't really matter. Boobs are blobs of fat surrounding glands made to produce milk for babies and size/shape isn't the important thing in milk production. If any guy thinks they're made for him and should be some other way, you need to smack him and move on.
Sides, your mom says hers changed with pregnancy, it'll likely be the same for you. Of course I wouldn't recommend having children, especially for a reason like that and at your age, but just a thought if nothing else is comforting. [ erythisis's advice column | Ask erythisis A Question ]

One, it could just be a stage. You are only 13, so your body is still going to change quite a bit before it is done.
Also, there are many different types of breasts. The "normal" breasts (naturally round, perky, and mid-sized) are actually pretty uncommon.
If you need to know more about it, go to Google (you might want to turn off adult pages in search results under preferences), and do a search for asymmetrical breasts or something similar. You will find lots of medical information and, to warn you, medical pictures, of many different kinds of breasts that are all perfectly normal.
