Love is something stupid teens have no idea about. Lust is what teens think love is.

Well.. you probably know what love is. Like really liking somebody and being truly in love. Lust is when you have a strong sexual craving.

love is when nomatter how mad you two get at each other as soon as you hear his voice or he hears yours everything is forgiven...love is when you think of him and smile to urself....when you wish time will freeze cuz you want the moment to last forever.. when nomatter what nasty fod they ate you'll still kiss then even if their breath smells like onions lol.... is when all pointless things mean a lot to you

Lust is when you like a someone just because of their looks and love is when you feel something so special for that person, you feel that you cant live without that person and you like everything about him/her you think they're perfect and perfect for you. Take care

Love is still there when you're not horny. If you love someone, their happiness means more to you than your own sexual urge to be with them. You want to talk to them, to spend time with them. You're happy when you're with that person. You might be nervous, too, but happy.
If you're just in lust, on the other hand, you feel something more like pain when you see that person. It's a feeling that's a lot like hunger.
But we're talking about feelings, and *every person in the world* has completely DIFFERENT feelings. What I call love and lust might be entirely different feelings to you, and probably are. We'll never know, since we can never directly compare feelings; all we can do is try to express them with words.
Ultimately each of us lives in the center of our own universe, and we can never cross over to anyone else's universe.
Which is a poetic way of saying that in the end, the only person who can tell you the difference between love and lust is YOU. And that answer won't necessarily be the same as anyone else's.

Love is based mostly on someone's personality. Lust is based entierely on someone's looks and sexual appeal and want for sexual pleasure. Lust would be like the more 'friends with benefits' kind of deal.
