You really are looking for the thinest part of you middle, if you have any trouble with that the easiest way to find your waist, and what I do when I need a percise waist measurement is to wrap a string around where you believe your waist is and tie a knot. Leave the string just a little loose and then wiggle and breath out, swelling your tummy as much as possible. Where ever the string lies after you let out your breath is your natural waist.
