Question Posted Tuesday September 6 2005, 10:45 pm
well i am planning a camping trip for about 13 teenagers and adults. We'll have a 5th wheel (Camping Trailer) so we'll have a stove, Mircowave, oven, etc... but I'm having trouble of thinking of simple (but yummy) dishs to make that dont require too much cooking, or preperation. Our Campsites will also have a Grill. Anyone have ideas to help me with my menu?? Thanks so much!!

1. Take chicken (already cooked), or vegetables (uncooked) and put them in separate ziploc bags.
2. At the compground cook the chicken on the grill (you could even microwave the chicken, but there wouldn't be a barbecue effect, which is always good). But you do need to grill the vegetables. Like mushrooms, carrots, zuchinni, etc. Throw on some olive oil as well.
3. Serve! [ TheycallMeBarbie's advice column | Ask TheycallMeBarbie A Question ]

GDROB answered Tuesday September 6 2005, 11:13 pm: Put simply Stir Fry. It's also low in fat. Frying green beans, mushrooms, rice, carrots etc can be done with a pan over the fire. That's a dinner option. Every kid likes their smores so 'nuff said. No smores and you'll see a goddarn revolution. Aise from Hotdogs you have to think of something you can do at home that works in the woods and adapt it. I think a Stir Fry is a good idea. [ GDROB's advice column | Ask GDROB A Question ]
