how to be better friends
OK so I have a group of friends..they're just school friends..it's been like this for 5 years now! I hate it..I want to go to the mall or hang out with them outside of school..but how? I can't just self invite myself..I can't invite them over to my house because of family reasons..but I want to get closer to them and be BEST friends with them..not school friends..what do i do?

ask your parents if you can go to the mall if they agree ask them you can also ask to invite them and there family to dinner or just them you could even have them all eat dinner together and atleast 1 parent comes with each girl so that you can get to know eachothers parent and the parents can meet and have dinner to!

invite yourself. if they are really your school friends then they will like hanging out with you and they wont care that you invited yourself. or ask one of them if you can go to there house one day. or like a fastfood place and then walk around to other places and talk. its pretty simple. good luck.

When your talking to them at school just be like" Hey, do you guys wanna got to the mall?" or "What are your plans this week? You wanna do something?"

Dont exactly invite your self to hang out with them, just say maybe we can hang out sometime.. they will probobly hang out with you at the mall or something.. maybe if that doesnt work, try to meet them at a game or some activity.

Sometimes people are kjust aquaintences and know you
because of school and have zero in common anyways. I think that is the issue here not to be cold but if they wanted to know you outside of school they would
have extended an invitation five years ago. Move on, find people who want to be with outside of school and do not waste your time trying to get these people interested it has not worked for you for five years and will not work for you for another five. Forget them, focus attention elsewhere.

Ask them to go to the movies or mall or something with you one weekend. If they don't seem to want to see you besides for school, let it go. You can't force yourself on people. It is their loss, anyway.

I had this problem once, just be like he guys I need some new shirts, does anyone want to come to the mall with me on saterday? that way you don't sound desprate to hang out and your not forcing anyone to come with you. easy, go to the movies or go to the mall. get thier numbers or screen names or myspaces or whatever! Then just ask them what times are good, be accertive, chances are tthey really want to just are like you. ask them what movies they like or what mall theyd like to go with and find out whos parents should drive. It wouldnt be weird cuz obviously they like you enough to be school friends with you =)
