i once read in a magazine that you should take tylonal(sp) an hour before.

make sure that you eat something with it!

If you are getting them perfenstiony waxed then after they wax you eye brows they put on this gel that is cold and it makes the pain go away very fast as my friend tells me. hoped I helped and good luck.

Why would you put milk on it? I've never ever ever ever heard that before. And I hate to break it to you, but there really isn't anything you can do to prevent the pain. Try carrying a squishy gym ball or some playdough to take your frustrations out on. Other than that, I can't think of anything else. To be honest, I'm shore it will hurt the first time, and probably the second time... and the third time. But after four or five times, you most likely won't experience pain any longer during this procedure. After so many times that the hair has been yanked from it's roots... the nerves just die off, and pain is no longer felt. Like me, for example. I have line brows, very thin. I pluck them. I only felt pain the first five or six times. And now, I pluck them for fun. Absolutely NO pain in the very slightest. It might be a little bit uncomfortable at first, but pain is beauty, and it WILL get better; I promise you!! :D

i dont think it really hurts at all and i dont put anything on it before or after. maybe try not washing your skin before you get it done so its not as sensative

it doesn't really hurt just a little bit of stinging for a few seconds after it's done. it hurts a lot less than plucking does. you could also put lotion on afterwards to help the redness. make sure afterwards you don't scrub it hard or use harsh chemical for the first few days because it will cause some soreness and peeling. hope i helped*

i recently got my eyebrows done for the first time. i asked the lady to stretch my skin a little from where she would be threading/plucking. so you can try that.

I've had it done before, it doesn't really hurt. Just a tingly feeling after it happens. Use ice to numb the spot before you get them done to help prevent anything painful you don't want to happen.

Dont worry at all about the pain. I just got them done for the first time last week and it doesm't really hurt! It just feels like, a little warm at first, and then it just feels like a little tug on your face. The only part that kinda hurts is the top.

Hope I helped!

hey hun ive been getting my eye brows done since i was in 5th grade and it didnt really hurt it also depends on how thick your eye brows are but it goes to fast to really even feel anything just take a deep breath and what ever you do do not squint it messes up the wax which will mess up your eyebrows

Mercy_x_Me answered Saturday September 3 2005, 11:27 am:
There's nothing you can do, but maybe ask the person doing your eyebrows to put pressure on it after they wax each piece to take away the pain. The pressure really helps, and let them know it's your first time! They will tell you to relax, and that's what you need to do. Your eyebrows might be a little red, and your eyes might tear the first time, but it gets less painful each time! Good Luck!

Ok dont worry it doesn't hurt so much !! It hurts for a like a second and thats it. If it helps like hold onto something (I dont mean bring a stuff animal or something) I mean you just hold onto your shorts/pants or something. And don't think about it because if you have your mind on something else than you won't feel the pain !! Dont worry theres like 100000 things more painful than getting your eyebrows done. Dont worry about it ! You will be fine. And if you wantt before you go like wash your face with warm water I heard if you do that it doesn't hurt as much. Hope I helped <3

I just got my eyebrows done and the lady that did them sayed that to ease the pain I should try putting a really warm cloth on them. She also sayed that when you go before you leave put a warm cloth on them because it lossen the hair. Just like when you pluck them put a warm cloth on before too! I hope it works out for you and good luck!

might wanna take some tylenol or excedrin...or a higher dose of some pain reliever because this will be EXCRUCIATING PAIN...im just kidding..your always gonna have to go through pain in your life both mentally and physically so you basically have to deal..no pain, no gain..for example..shots, wisdom teeth pulled, giving birth, getting parts pierced, getting tats..theres alot worse then getting your eyebrows done. look on the bright side..you wont look like brooke sheilds
