how to have a rockin' party
okay, i am going to have a sweet sixteen at a hotel ballroom. what are some things you guys would love to see at a party? lets be creative here people...

..Well guys like dark lightin or blacklights that would be pretty hoott..And a lot of loudd music and a crowd of people..Have some little contests and stuff..Best couple..Best dressed..Best dancer..It would also be great if there was a little room off of the partty room where people can hang out and the room have no music and be fully lite..Hope i helped`..Have a greatt partyy`

- get a band to play at your party..like you know a hs band or somethin..
-best dressed contest..best dressed male and female gets a gift certificate..the judge could be the dj or somethin..or you can have people vote
-dance contest

- i was at a sweet 16 and someone had like a tv hooked up and people were playing ddr and other video games..maybe set that up with like a couch..this way there is somethin for everyone
-kareoke is always fun

-maybe have some sort of like grand entrance for you..some get relatives or someone you know (or a pro but you would have to pay them) and they like skate in on rollerskates..and then you have all these like showgirls in costumes (use your good friends for this) and behind them you come in? hm some kind of cool entrance.
- at my sweet 16 i had a swimming after party..maybe you could arrange that with the hotel..it was very fun..we also had an after after party in the sauna..like 6 of us haha it was fun
- i dont know the price range..but have belly dancers dance there? or something
-maybe have like a seperate area..where like no adults can see you..like idk have a section closed off with like fake vines hanging from the ceiling so there is privacy..and have like a pool table (if its possible to have one brought in)..some couches..like a chill spot
- rent a room and have ur best friends and you sleep over afterwards

im brand new at this... but my sister jsut turned 16...and se didnt have a party but i think it would be fun to base it liek a princess.... you could get little wands nad a crown. and everyone will just fool around with them! also... if u dont already have a dress... or a skirt... wear a really poofy.. or cinderella dress that you would c at a wedding (sometymes... marshells or tj macs or just simple lil thrift stores you can find them) but it will be cute if u got a crown at like claires... or something and wore it around! so0o what ya think? it might b to extreme but think of how fun it would be!

here's an idea-
make a section where people can just chill. maybe take a couch of yours and put it in a corner and then throw random pillows on it. play some really cool music, even if you dont get a DJ, maybe make a mix with your favorite songs put together. for decorations- go to a party store and look for vibrant themes. for instance- a mascarade party. when u send the invites, put "must bring mask, or you need you get one from the party." at the party store, there should be a mask or costume aisle. get masks, enough for about 3 quarters of your party friends. another theme could be PINK or SUMMER. if you have a theme, and most of the room blends, then you'll have a rockin sweet sixteen.

Something thats REALLY fun, just because its so random and stupid is this.
Where everybody is sitting, put a couple of things to do. Like, when they hear such and such word, they do such and such action. Like you would start it by saying "Hi everybody!" and then someone's card would say "When you hear somebody say "Hi Everybody" get up and say "ICEBERG DEAD AHEAD!" and then somebody else would do something when they hear iceberg dead ahead, and so on. Its so random and it starts itself off, its a ton of fun if your friends are random and won't stand there and be like "What the hell?" Good luck!
