punk stores
im going to the mall tomorrow to by new clothes and i was wonderin if there are any other stores like hot topic or stores that arent really "preppy"?

Well, you could try Pac Sun..its not really preppy..i mean they have skirts and pink and everything but they have nice brands such Element and Billabong. Hope I helped a bit.

Look for little shops that aren't big chains like Hot Topic. Where I live, we have shops called BS8 and Clothing Federation. They sell alternative clothing, just look for ones that aren't well known. That's where you can usually get the best stuff.

Is there a Bealls or Ross near you? I never thought to shop there until my sister-in-law (the stripper) told me to. I don't know if they are all the same, but all the ones in my area have mostly preppy or professsional, but they also have some really great unpreppy stuff. I got my black and red wedding dress at Ross, and I buy a LOT of clothes from Bealls. They don't always have a lot, but if you hunt around you can find some really cute things.
Bealls are in Florida, Georgia, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Alabama. I believe that they are primarily a Florida chain though. I've never looked at their online store, but you might try [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). Ross is in about 25 states in the west and southeast.

Well i'm pretty much a preppy shopper but i'd say.. go to pacsun or tillys.. or just window shop. But those places are pretty cool. Oh && Anchor Blue has some clothes that arent that "preppy".

You can go to Spencers or basiclly any store you like. I mean try like Dillards or something because there isn't only preppy clothes there. But Spencers and Pac Sun would have the clothes you are looking for.

Hey - unfortunately I don`t know the name of the mall you are going to, nor the stores there - but here`s my advice - window shop. If you like what you see, go take a look =]Sometimes, even a store that might seem preppy.. has alternatives that are really cool, or atleast a cool T-shirt =]. And even if the store looks so-so, just check it out! Trust me, I`ve seen my share of stores that looked crappy, but found great pieces of clothing that you could never tell where they are from =] MOST malls have Delia`s..and trust me, MOST of the stuff is preppy.. but they have changed ALOT over the years, so go check it out =] Hope I`ve Helped ♥

XXI, also known as Forever 21 has a wide variety of clothing... there may be preppy stuff there but there is sooo much there you're sure to find something you like. I come from a group of very diverse friends and I don't know anyone who isn't able to shop there. Charlotte Russe really isn't that preppy. PacSun is cool too. Other than that, I think Hot Topic might be your best bet.
