when i got my dog we let him outside(we would go too)and then when he was done doing his thing we gave him a treat and said good boy and stuff like that and to walk him have him on your side with a short leash maybe 5ft long aroung there..and just tug on him leash when he starts to walk you.

if he goes potty in the right spot, give him a GOOD treat, like a cookie or chicken (all dogs LOVE chicken) or even a greenies cookie, they clean the teeth and has a irrestibistle taste to it!

just walk him for the heck of walking walk him ALOT.

well i know it sounds mean but i use a chocker collar on my 5 month old puppy when i walk her and she used to be really bad when she walks but nows shes perfect. also i leave a leash on her when shes around the house so its easy to handle her when she gets into trouble. on the potty training thing just watch him closely and yell at him only when he is going in the house not after the fact and do your best to try to get him outside like i just start clapping and being really hyper to get my dog outside when she starts having an acident. it gets their attention. hope i helped

The most important thing is to be consistent and punish him when he misbehaves and reward him when he behaves correctly.
