Maybe he can come early and meet your parents, or the day before. This is one of those dilemma's that I'm sure your mom would like to help you with if you can ask her. As for the others, you simply say so and so asked me first. Next time they will get the lead out and ask earlier! :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
Mackenzie answered Thursday August 25 2005, 9:37 pm: Chill, it's just a dance. You're making it into something it doesn't have to be. If you would like to enjoy your first high school dance, I would highly recommend going with a familiar face. And as for how you should "break the news to the freshman"... just tell them. It's not the end of the world. They'll survive. You really shouldn't be stressing like that over something as simple as a dance. High school will be hard enough, don't turn something that is supposed to be enjoyable into a big ball of teenage drama. [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
