xfixatedlies answered Friday August 26 2005, 1:10 am: when you go back to your computer after a long period of time is it at the welcome screen?
well if you dont have one or whatever.....check the settings of your screen saver, because that sometimes has something to do with it... [ xfixatedlies's advice column | Ask xfixatedlies A Question ]
TrustMe answered Thursday August 25 2005, 11:18 pm: OMG! that happens to me ALL THE TIME!! like almost everyday! it does do that when you switch users, and even if your computer puts on a screen saver or goes to sleep. I'm sorry but there is absolutly nothing you can do about that... Trust me, i even call the costamer (spelled wrong) service place and they told me that no one could fix that. sorry. curliefrie92 answered Thursday August 25 2005, 3:32 pm: o0o0oz that once happened to me.. ok. like sumtimes someone could get into your away message. and also if you link screen names it could sign you on and off. that is what happened to me. what i would do is ( it helped me) is just re download the software.
DancinCutie08 answered Thursday August 25 2005, 1:01 pm: that happened to my friend. what you need to do is set an idle message. also try redownloading aim. if that doesnt work just dont leave aim on. try something like imforwards.com instead [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
xomegaroni answered Thursday August 25 2005, 12:17 pm: i know what you mean! ok when you're on the account you're on for AIM, when you don't go into that account for awhile, it like starts over. what you have to do is go to the main screen and click properties. you see your screen savers, themes, desktops, settings, etc. go to screen saver, and there's like how many mins you use your screen saver for, make it higher er no screen saver whatsoever. if you're having problems and it still doesn't work, then what you need to do is leave your a/m up and everything like normal, but have another program running. like for me, i play windows media player w/ the sound turned off, juss so that it doesn't sign me off AIM. if you need help with it leave some in my inbox!
