If you go to documents on your computer there's a folder called Aim Logger. It has everyone single conversation you've had with everyone in there. It shows you other peoples screennames and if you click one it shows all the conversations you've had with that specific person. There's a way to turn it off- go to settings and go to the Logging section ( I think?) and unclick log conversations. If you want to delete all the conversations, right click on the folder and click delete. Also, make sure to go to the recycle bin on your computer and delete it from there so it's completely off your computer.

Karen answered Tuesday August 23 2005, 7:42 pm: The actual AIM itself, no, it does not log your conversations. The only way for AIM to log your conversations is to download an add-on such as AIM+ or Dead AIM. You can find these programs by searching for them at [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). You can save your conversations but that would be a waste of time. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]

xXxpinky615xXx answered Tuesday August 23 2005, 7:09 pm: No. The only way any version of AIM would store it is if you had Dead AIM downloaded. The only way messages on AIM are able to be saved is if you go into your convo window and go to file and click save. Other than that, and if you don't have Dead AIM, they cannot be stored. FunnyCide answered Tuesday August 23 2005, 6:01 pm: AIM itself doesn't, unless you save it yourself. If you download Dead AIM, it'll save all of your conversations for you. Though, someone said that Dead AIM had a virus? I don't know. To save your conversation yourself, when you're through talking to the person, find "File" at the top left-hand corner of the IM box. -Click- The top item on the drop-down menu says "Save" -Click- Name the file whatever you want it to be named and save it to My Documents or another specific file. I save all of my AIM conversations, for a trip down memory lane when I'm like... thirty. HAHA.
