cartilage pierced
I'm thinking about getting my cartilage pierced.. but im afraid its gonna hurt a lot. Does it? How much does it hurt? (How much more than getting ur lobe pierced?)

it twinges for a couple seconds and then it goes numb. it will be red for about 30 minutes at first right after you get it done. when you're sleeping, try not to sleep on the side that you get it done on and it wont hurt. the only time it kmight hurt after you get it pierced is if you lay on it, pull on it, or get it caught on something. hope i helped! It doesnt hurt me and my sister both have ours peirced and to tell you the truth it feels pretty good i like it actually. Just when you first get it done it bleeds a lil bit but truly it dont hurt!

It's not going to hurt at all. Of course it's going to hurt more than getting your lobes pierced, since there are nerves in this part of your ear. My left cartilage is double pierced and when I got it pierced, it felt like a pinch. Don't worry about it.

Ok look I was 7 when I got mine done and I am a big baby ( hahaha) And it didn't hurt me a bit !
So don't let anyone tell you that it hurts like a bitch because it really doesn't !
Ok it gets sore for the next few days but thats
it and you prolly don wanna lay on it for a week
or so but wut I did was kinda like cupped my ear with my hand when I started to lay on it ! And I am 13 now so everything is good with it !

Yes it hurts.. and it hurts alot worse then your lobe.. it actually hurts for a good couple of months.. most people i know that got it done and myself has had it hurt alot longer then your lobe.. and it gets infected alot easier.. ♥ Dez

Um for me I couldnt even feel the earring go in when she was actually do it. I could only hear it pop when It went in. But after.... It hurt to lay on it, talk on the phone, and if anything touched it. Now I dont do that well with cheap earrings because Im kindof reactant to the metal, But I dont think that had anything to do with it, because my best friend felt the same way. My other best friend(we all got them done together) said It hurt right when it got pierced, but not after, so It might all depend on your pain tolerance and your body. <3

When i got my earlobes peirced it didnt really hurt when the needle went through, it just hurt afterwards.. my cartlidge was like opposite.. it hurt for the 2 seconds the peircing went through, but then after that i didnt even feel it unless i laid on it or like bumped it, im my opinion it was alot less painful than getting your earlobe peirced. i think you should get it peirced! i think cartilidge peircings look cute!

My sister got her cartilage pierced and she told me that it hurt like hell. She stopped wearing hers years ago and she was left with a gross scar. It could just be her body, but if it won't close up and look natural again (since I'm assuming you won't want a cartilage piercing when your an old person) I don't recommend cartilage piercings.

it feels just like gettin your lobes pierced, actually it hurts less.
when i got mine done im like "ok you can do it now" and she already did it, so it doesnt hurt at all:)

It hurts no more than getting your lobes pierced. Unless of course it gets infected. Then it could hurt like a bitch. But no, it doesn't hurt one bit =)

yeuh it does hurt really. and sleeping on it hurts a lil so yeuh.. but uhm you just have to clean it alot.. but not too much cause it will irritate(spelling?) it

it didnt hurt at all!..just a quick pinch....hurts for maybe 2 seconds...i actually think it was easier then getting my lobe pierced...but it could be just my opinion. Good luck! and i hope you get it done! (its really cute)
p.s. make sure you clean it all the time so it dont get infected and take care of it..it may not get infected at first it can take atleast 3 mnths to get infected(mine did)
