i have a verizon cell phone. i DONT have free/unlimited text messages. and im not allowed to text or receive texts because my parents say it "costs soooo much money" well how exactly does it cost? cause i just sent about 10 and my boyfriend replied about 10.
also, is texting part of free nights and weekends? if so, im good.
chunkychula answered Monday August 22 2005, 2:15 pm: Hi well I think that Text messages cost about 10 cents for each time you recieve and send one. It is not part of the weekends or the night. You can always ask your parents to make text messages part of your plan so you dont have to pay a lot for it. [ chunkychula's advice column | Ask chunkychula A Question ]

For pics messaging its 25 cents to send/receive. If you text a lot and a lot of people it would be a good idea to get text and picture messaging "IN" for $5 a month. that would make it unlimited...
I dont think its free on nights and weekends because your not "IN" with it. If you have "IN" for calling people after 9 and on weekends like i do, its different and doesnt apply.
