Hi i am 13 and im really short for my age and i weigh 90 or so pounds. i wanted to know if any one knew any excercise routines with out lifiting weights(cause i don't have any)If you know any excercise routines(pushups...)that will help me loose weight in a short amount of timethat would be great!!

Maybe give some free advice about: Fitness? sunnyville answered Saturday August 20 2005, 7:45 pm: I will tell you how to do a push up first,lay on a mat or a towel with your face down tip toe your feet,hands touching the floor,keep hands forward then push your body down as you go but make sure you extend your elbows,feet together, and do at least 30.There's a move called a teaser first,lie on back,knees tucked in toward chest. Next inhale,then extend both legs so there are 45 degrees from the floor.After that raise upper body off floor,exhale as you sit up in a v shape,and reaching fingers towards toes.Find a balancing point and tighten abs.Lower to starting position and repeat it two times.Finally,rest and do 2 more sets of 3 reps with a rest in between sets.Drink a lot of water,chicken,no salty foods,and egg whites,and other foods with a low amount of calories.Also use other moves I have in my advice column as well it'll help you lose weight along with the diets I gave. -crunches
-pilotes
lay on your back and with your hands by your sides lift your head up just so you can see your stomach and lift you legs just above the floor by like a foot and count to 100
-leg lifts
lay on your back and just lift you legs up and down and try to hold it
-bicycle crunch
lay on your back and then prop you upper body up and lean on your elbows and lift your legs up a little from the floor then bring one knee in and then the other keep doing this slowly and you*ll feel it in you abs
-running everday will help a little more ach day
-squats
-lunges
also try seeing if you can get an excersise ball or the ab roller which can get mostly anywhere
26 sit ups will help but doing different things will help a little more...try doing a little more of each thing each day and you will definently see results...if your confused on any of the things drop one in my inbox and i*ll explain it a bit better

DancinCutie08 answered Saturday August 20 2005, 7:28 pm: well i lose alot of weight swimming and its not tiring really at all. try lap swimming for an hour or 2 a day along with kickboarding and stuff. if you dont have acsess to a pool i would recomend doing stuff like going on a tramp or playing basketball with a friend. your more likely to stick with stuff like that longer [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
