azngemini answered Saturday August 20 2005, 5:26 pm: well, the brand of the toothpaste doesnt really matter, just as long as the toothpaste is minty. sooo yeaa.. colgate will work
i've used this method before.. well not overnight, but like for 20 minutes, and it didnt do much. it might work for you, but if it doesnt, i recommend clearasil ultra spot treatment
ViNTAGEC0UTURE answered Saturday August 20 2005, 2:25 pm: We have all heard that beauty myth, but ir doesn't really work. It really only helps the redness. So I wouldn't sugesst using it because it also tends to dry out your skin. Try going to CVS or a drugstore and getting a daily facewash for pimples.
jj_u_i_c_y answered Saturday August 20 2005, 2:17 pm: i`ve tried the toothpaste trick it doesn`t really work. what it does is it dries out your skin but not the pimple.
Teza answered Saturday August 20 2005, 1:39 pm: I`m really wondering who invented this toothpaste trick! It seriously does not work. Everyone says it does but honestlly try it you'll see. It wont make it smaller and it wont make it go away but it just wont hurt and it can rid of some redness. Just try and see if it will work on your skin. Good luck! lilstrumiexox answered Saturday August 20 2005, 1:38 pm: personally from experience...i dont think it works. try clearasil or any acne fighting cream or ointment. if toothpaste has worked for you in the past, then continue with it and use colgate [ lilstrumiexox's advice column | Ask lilstrumiexox A Question ]
Mercy_x_Me answered Saturday August 20 2005, 1:14 pm: Really any toothpaste at all! It's a well known fact... if you put it on and your skin begins to sting a bit you know it's working. (Don't worry it's not painful really, just a sting that you can definetly determine) [ Mercy_x_Me's advice column | Ask Mercy_x_Me A Question ]
xXxpinky615xXx answered Saturday August 20 2005, 1:10 pm: Anytoothpaste could work. I have NO clue what's in it, but something that's in toothpaste reduces the swelling and redness of a pimple... Also if you have Caladryl (the stuff for bug bites) you could use that too. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
