to get my acne scars to clear up.. is neutrogena acne fading peel better to use or neutrogena visbly even daily spf 15 moisterizer? whats the difference and witch ones betta
SilentOne answered Friday August 19 2005, 9:37 pm: If you want to clear up acne scars, try getting something that's specific to it. There are some really good natural products out with Calendula and Golden Seal extracts that work much better than some of the more chemical products. Look for things like "Scarless Wound Healer".
With regard to the "daily spf 15 moisturizer", I wouldn't use that. My reason is that sunscreen [no matter how much I might sound like an all natural tree-hugging hippy :) ] has some nasty chemicals in it. It's been clinically shown that regularly wearing sunscreen increases your risk of developing skin cancer; the reason they still sell it? Because sunburn is worse. So if you're going out in the sun a WHOOOLE lot, wear the sunscreen, but I'd steer clear of moisturising products with unnecessary sunscreen added to them.
sunnyville answered Friday August 19 2005, 8:57 pm: Neutrogena visbly even daily spf 15 moisturize is better because it's good for the eyes, gives sunscreen for your skin protecting it,fading, and clearing acne plus it worked for several of the doctor's clients.Neutrogena acne fading peel is for clear, even toned skin, and only reduces acne which why it is not so good. the neutrogena visibly even daily spf 15 moisturizer really really well for me, it helps to like fade away dark spots and uneven skin tone. you're talking about SCARS, i dont know if the neutrogena moisturizer will help get rid of your scars because they're kind of different from dark spots.
i dont know how well the neutrogena acne fading peel works because i use other products along with it, but i like using it. you should probably use this product to help with your scars.
