Punks and Goths
everyone labels me as a punk, a punk-goth, and a goth! and some of my friends are like ick you listen to that music its all about oo lets go slit our throats...but its truely not! they just dont understand me!one of my friends is exactly like me though!i hate how people diss my music!if they would just listen to it they would be able to tell!! i`m getting so sick of it! what should i do??

its your music, and they can get over it. if you like the music it doesnt really matter what other people think.. does it? just tell them they can stick to their music, and you will stick to yours :)

You have to remember that as much as you want wish people would walk in your shoes they wont, and probably never will. Im catagorized as a "prep" but im just me. I wear Aero clothes, Volcom clothes, Southpole clothes, i dont care. My boyfriend is black. Does that make me thug? No. But thats what people do. Just be you. If they wanna say that your music is like that, let them. Just brush it off because people suck. And fighting, will never really get you anywhere. But i know how it feels. Just be you, and dont worry about what other people think.

First you need to see where they are comming from. Are the opening lyrics to any of the songs you listen to "i'll slit your throught and f*** the wound".or anything along that line. If you say your not punk punk-goth goth-punk or goth what do you actually classify yourself as. Personally i can't be grouped b/c im a fatty who runs a 6.50 mile which is the same as my track friends and i play basketball and baseball, and i get straight A's without trying and im a nerd, geek and a loser at the same time. What are you? Now when they are like your punk, be like "shut up jock(or prep)" and then be like just playing. Act really smart be like its because of profilers like you that our society has to grasp the steoro-typical nature of ones character. That should shut them up and leave there mouth gapeing.
