I want to make Dance Company at my school this year. The thing is, it's for "advanced and talented" dancers, and I'm just okay. What can I do to prepare myself for tryouts (on September 1st) ????

Djc answered Tuesday August 23 2005, 7:16 pm: Im a dancer myself, dance is a very hard "sport". If your just okay in dance, then i suggest you dont tryout at all. In order to succeed you need to at least "think" your a good dancer or believe in yourself. Try harder, i bet your not just -okay-..all of those dancers who appear to be talented and advanced, are just advanced because they try hard and have passion for what they do. So just prepare by practicing and dont think about the other dancers, your just as good if you believe in yourself, promise..good luck! :) [ Djc's advice column | Ask Djc A Question ]
