My friends problem.

Question Posted Wednesday August 17 2005, 11:26 am

One of my guy friends, Blake, is interested in one of my girl friends, Allie. Allie is like super mean to him and she tells everyone she doesn't like him. and Blake keeps asking me what he should do about it. I can't just say forget about her because he likes her a lot. What should I say to him?

Try hooking him up with another one of your girl friends, maybe. If you have a boyfriend (I'm assuming you're a girl) then go with him and Blake and your other girl friend on a double date, that won't make it seem as awkward, and then maybe he'll start to like that girl! Hope I helped!

Tell Blake that Allie doesn't really want (or need) a boyfriend right now. Encourage him to make friends with other girls and perhaps ask one of them out. Encourage him and help keep his spirits high. Let him know you care about him, even if Allie doesn't want to be his girlfriend. Talk to Allie and encourage her not to be so cruel to him. Tell her that she doesn't have to go out with him, but ask her not to be so rude to him, just go be his friend. Try and encourage each of them - seperately - to be friends with the other and that is all. Encourage Blake to make friends with other girls, and encourage Allie to be more friendly. It stinks being stuck in the middle. :-
Good luck.

well, i think that you should definately talk to him privately and tell him that allie doesnt really want to be with him right now. dont make him feel like he has been rejected just tell him the truth but not harshly. good luck!

Tell him, that you don't think she really wanst a relationship or anything right now. Tell him "hey look, I dont think Allie is really right for you right now. I know you like her, but there are plenty of other girls who like you."just break it to him, but just in a nicer and more gentle way then just "forget about her"
