related guy...

Question Posted Wednesday August 17 2005, 10:16 am

Okay so umm... There's this guy I really like at the moment... He's really cute and has never had a gf! Which I can't understand... But anyway.. he works at the same place as me, he's so sweet.. I'm not sure he notices me much because he's like 3 years older but well.. he's my best mate's BROTHER... and well... what the heck should I do :S
Do I need to tell my friend or just let things run and see if there's even a possibility anything could happen...
lol whoops :(

If you think this guy is great...just go for it. Your best friend should understand your feelings. Good luck!

That's a tough call, that would make him twenty, which in itself has some moral issues. But he's your best friend's brother too? Jeez, you picked a winner. Okay, I'll see if I can help you out here. Before making ANY kind of a move, rules of engagement state that you MUST get permission from the friend. Its just good manners. Then providing you get consent from your best mate there, you will have to be in the same house with him and find some way to talk to him alone. He needs to be able to relax and with his sister/ brother or any family members for that matter it will just be too much pressure, so like spend the night at your best mate's house and then find some way to talk to this guy, flirt with him and try not to come off too strong. If he's interested he'll probably make the first move. I don't know how crafty you are, but you should try and get him to talk about his experience with girls and assure him that he's cute and that any girl would be lucky to have him, really stroke his ego. YES EGO! This has always been the sure fire way to get a guy's attention, trust me, I've seen it enough times and its happened to me enough times for me to be sure of this. GOOD LUCK!

Definently tell your friend. She could tell you what to do and what not to do because obviously he's either very picky about girls or not very good with them. Your best bet is to tell your friend and make sure she won't tell her brother. Then start making moves on them and see what happens from there.
Hope I helped
