Dakmor answered Sunday August 14 2005, 4:46 pm: Limewire is illegal. Here's my Limewire example that's on 3 questions on my column:
Say you bought KOTOR. You've been saving your allowance for it for weeks. You install it on your computer, and immediately, it's sent throughout the world, and some guy in China suddenly gets it off of Limewire---using your money! That's right. Delete it. It's extremely illegal. Almost as illegal as Kazaa, if not more. [ Dakmor's advice column | Ask Dakmor A Question ]

1. Open Limewire
2. Open the library tab
3. Click on the 'Shared' folder on the left hand side
4. If you don't know already, to find out the folder in which the songs are in, right click on any song, and click 'Describe...'
5. Several information should come up, and at the bottom there should read something like = C:Documents and SettingsYournameShared'Songtitle'; or something like that.
6. Open My computer and open the C drive
7. Continue to follow the path that was written. It probably won't be what I just wrote before, but simply continue to find and open the folders that were listed.
8. Once you find the folder with all the music, if the icon for the songs is the iTunes logo, simply double click on the song file.
9. If it is not, right click on the song and click 'Open with' and select iTunes.
10. Connect your iPod Mini and wait for iTunes to open up again then it should automatically update all songs in your library [including the ones from limewire you just opened] to your iPod
sillygoose92b answered Friday August 12 2005, 10:56 pm: Ok, go to library (on limewire) then click "explore" Then your files should all open up. Then open Itunes and drag the files over to your playlist. Then connect your ipod to the computer and that should work. This is what I do, I hope it works for you [ sillygoose92b's advice column | Ask sillygoose92b A Question ]

Your name then the word iPod should appear in the left column. Right click that and click update songs and do not disconnect the cord until it says its ok.
