Your life is swimming in great ideas for a movie!
Try some writing exercises (easily found online) and you'll be surprised how the ideas start flowing. Here are some to start you off:

1) Write a script about your life seen through the eyes of another person, or to make it interesting, the eyes of a pet or an inanimate object.
2) Write a movie that would fit this tagline: "The worst day of his/her life is about to be the best..."
3) People love routing for the underdog; why not write about the person who has everything? The challenging part is: what's their problem? Stay away from the staid cliches of "poor little rich girl" or the "misunderstood Adonis". Go for something original - the jock who's great at football but only wants to paint like Monet.
4) Write a script for a title that begins "The Life and Times of..."
5) Think of the worst movie you ever watched and try to analyze what made it bad. Rewrite it with new characters, a new improved plot and fix all those mistakes. Hey, new movies are pretty much rehashes of old movies anyway and everyone loves a remake!

Happy writing!

You can make it a romance. Everyone loves a romantic movie. You could also make it funny. Just think of a dream you had and change it a litle and make it your movie. I had to write a short story for my literature class and thats what I did and I got an A+.

Dystopian. And incorporate action/adventure into it and put a major plot twist into it.

In case you don't know what Dystopian is, it is the opposite of Utopian (perfect society). If you read the books 1984 and Brave New World, they are perfect examples of Dystopian societies. Also if you seen the movie "The Island", that can also be taken as an example of a dystopian society.

Also horror seems to be popular now, try and channel your worst fear (or fears) into writing this and let the ideas come from your mind on what you think is scary and frightening. Or you can just make it eerie looking or sounding, your choice!

You might consider taking old stories and re-inventing them as new and evolving stories. Make sure to keep the audience guessing because if you just do the same basic storyline, they are going to know what to expect. Be creative!

I got a whole host of ideas, I write short stories in my spare time and am always thinking up new ideas for things to write about. If you want any more ideas then PLEASE feel free to IM me at Alpha0mega345 (my aim) or drop something in my inbox and I'll share some more of my ideas.

Hey I hope this helps and you get some good ideas going! Be creative!

-Ryan

You could write a script about a gang called the bloods involving love, tragedy, betrayal, torture, obession, crime, and murder.Use girls who many suffer for these boys and what a hardship the guys in the crew go through.Another idea would be about drugdealers who fight against very dangerous professional kidnappers.A third idea would be one with different monsters going against each other bad V.S bad like ghosts V.S Bigfoot wow that would be a shocking movie to watch them fighting each other.

Lol.

Why don't you write about your life? Take inspiration from it, and make an idea.

What you write depends heavily on what kind of film you want to make. If you don't care, there are no limits! But first you need inspiration.

Or, for example, go look for an image. A picture, or a photo, and make up a story for it!

Or just start with people talking, and build from there.

An action flick would need a powerful enemy, and reason why hero/antihero would fight. For a twist, show things from the villain's perspective!

A romance flick would have the typical guy meets girl type storyline. Or you could add a little twist. I personally like them when they are comedic. Occasionally, different times and places make things interesting as well.

A horror/suspense flick should be based off of what scare you the most.

Combining elements is good too!

Or you could take an old story, and give it a new slant. Take a look at some Shakespeare, for example. Much Ado About Nothing is a personal favorite.

Good luck! And if you ever need ideas or editing, feel free to inbox me. ^^
