Question Posted Thursday August 11 2005, 4:39 pm

I'm going to either Wal-Greens or Rite-Aid to get some acne stuff. I have really bad acne and scars from pimples all over my face. What would be a product that will actually help clear up my skin?

Please answer to the best of your knowlegde!

Thanks.

ooo i can totally help you out on this :)

you can try Neutrogena Acne Fading Peel. it helps to fade away acne scars AND treat acne. i have it, but i dont know how well it works because i use other stuff as well, but i really like using it. some people say it works really well for them, but others say it didnt help them at all, but you can give it a try. i bought it at target for about 12 bucks, but i'm sure they sell it at walgreens, because there's a walgreens a block away from my house.
for your acne, i suggest clearasil ultra face wash. they gaurantee it'll make your skin clearer in 3 days. if you dont want that, then you can also try oxy maximum stength pads. it's like 5 or 6 dollars for 90 pads, but they work really well. for your scars or dark spots from past acne, you can use Neutrogena visibly even daily spf 15 moisturizer. my friend and i both use this, and we both agree it really helps to fade away dark spots

hope i helped :)

I don't really have natually bad skin, but I use Clearasil cleansing whipe things. They work really well for me! Also try Clean and Clear stuff. I don't know the exact name of the product. For the scars, try the acne mark fading peel...i think it's from neutragena.

Hope I helped!!

Hey

Umm lets see the only thing i could recommend for you would have to be stridex day and night. It's the only product that i have gotton from a pharmacy that has worked.

If you go here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

You'll see what it looks like if you already dont know.

I personally use Proactive and i love it. But i also use stridex day and night. They pretty much both work great. But stridex day and night is alot cheeper.

Neutrogena has a new product out that helps get rid of scars and acne. You can try buying a scrub by St. Ives and that will help clear up your skin. Pretty much any product by Neutrogena.

Umm my best friend did proactive, and it helped her, but if its really bad, you might want to talk to your parents and get them to take you to a dermatologist. They have perscription creams and pills that work a lot better than OTC products.
