Not sure about the first part, but I'm pretty lime juice works. But if you don't mind the $15 dollars, Sun-In works like a charm!

The product sun in usually helps, it definately helped lighten my hair, and all of my friends noticed that it was lighter. Don't use it for like 5 days in a row with brown hair, it usually starts to turn a little orange.hope i helped.

Thanks,
Jenna

My friends have done that, and it has lightened it quite a bit. It actually depends on the shade of your hair. Say you have really dark brown hair. Lemon juice would lighten it to a lighter brownish color. If you have dark blonde hair, it would become a lighter blonde. Another way that I can think of is something I do. In the summer time I tend to swim alot, causing clorine to always be in my hair. Once I get my hair all wet, I'll lay out in the sun, and over the years my hair has become all blonde, and its been that way since i can remember.

lemon juice doesnt really help that much. you can try this stuff called sun-in but you have to be outside in the sun for like a couple hours.

i used to put lemon juice in my hair but i stopped because it only lightens it a little bit and it makes your hair smell like lemons! but then i started using a thing called "Sun In" alls you do is spray it in your hair and then blow-dry it or stand out in the sun for a couple minutes either way works relly good. i have naturally very dark brown hair but i use sun in and now my hair is platnum blonde and i have never died it.

The lemon brings out your natural highlights and you should use all of the juice of the lemon

Yes, lemon juice does really work. Another thing you could do is spray Sun-in in it. You can get that at any supermarket or drug store. Lemon juice looks more natural though.

okay... to tell you the truth... lemon juice doesnt work THAT well you hafto be in the sun for 4 or 5 hours before it actually starts working. You can also lighten your hair by being in the sun because sun fades colors. lemon juice is acidic and can damage the roots & things to your hair.

hope i helped

it doesnt lighten it alot but you should use a soft-bristled brush and sqeeze the lemon onto that to make it even and not get it wet for twenty four hour and sorry but i dont know any other ways besides staying out in the sun!
