4.0 next year

Question Posted Sunday August 7 2005, 5:12 pm

Hey. I'm going into the 8th grade, and I am striving for a 4.0 this year for all 4 quarters and Final. I badly want to get into the Science & Tech program at this highschool I want to go to. In 7th grade, I didn't do as well as I wanted to, and this year I need to make up for that by getting a 4.0 for all quarters. How can I focus more on my school work and manage my time so I'm able to get all 4.0's? Thanks!

Ask TUNS of q's. PEy as much attention as possible, and STAY ORGANIZED!!!! i have a 4.0 gpa and im in 8th grade and thats wut i do. If you have troubles concentrating you mite have A.D.D. (attention defisite disorder) its very normal. Just go to a docter and he will give you sum meds.

Prioritize. If schoolwork is this important, treat it like it is. Instead of hanging out with friends, make sure you get all your homework done first.
Study daily -- you never know when a teacher's going to give you a pop quiz!
Keep in touch with your teachers (even if you don't like them). In other words, talk to them about your schoolwork. If you're confused about something, don't be afraid to ask questions (if you're embarrassed to ask during class, ask afterwards). Let your teachers know of your goals and maybe they will have other tips for you!
♥ Hope I helped.

well organization always helps. making sure that you know what is due when is a good idea like having a notebook where you can write homework down. and when you are in class focus on the teacher and really try to grasp what they are saying (even if it really isnt that interesting). good luck with that 4.0!

heyy! well i think its really good that u have made a goal for yourself, everyone should do that. But it is kind of hard to have all straight A's, just do your best and do all your homework and study for all your tests. if you dont get a 4.0 dont be upset, bcuz even if you got 3.5 or 3.7 or something like that, i think thats excellent...and as long as you try your best i think you will do just fine..hope i helped!

If you want a 4.0 you should really try to eat a good breakfast such as:
1. healthy cereal 2. juice 3.JUST ANY BREAKFAST FOODS THAT ISN'T JUNK FOOD AND IS HEALTHY FOR YOU THAT WOULD MAKE YOU FULL & READY FOR YOUR DAY.

To get such high grades, I suggest NO TV, music (unless it's instrumental sountracks, those help) TELEPHONE is terrible (unplug the phone if you have to!!!) AND to get high grades SLEEP A LOT but study!

Studying is very important but sleep is better because it relaxes you. Try not to stress a lot.
Goodluck!
