Sometimes in the day I feel like water or pee is leaking out of my vagina
Is this normal? and even sometimes I get stains in my underwear.

SuperB answered Sunday October 8 2006, 2:11 am: OK, I have the same problem and I do not think it is normal. I am 34 and I have never, "peed" out of my vagina. That is until recently. For the last few periods, when I cough or sneeze or move funny while on my period, I get a pee-like sensation and I "pee" my pants. I know it isn't actual pee because I also need to change my tampon way too often because it is also full of this pee like liquid. I am concerned and am going to go to my doctor. A friend of mine said it sounds like a cyst. But I'll go to the doctor and find out for sure and report back.
One other thing that may or may not be related...about four years ago I started to have serious nauseous episodes right before my period. The first few times were pretty far apart (a year or at least 6 months). They were so bad, I thought I kept getting food poisoning except that I would throw up for about a half hour to an hour tops and then be fine. Really weird. After about 5 of these episodes I finally figured out the correlation to my period and asked my doc. She said that hormones can spike and cause this kind of reaction. Now, I have recognized that the nauseous spells have increased and the "pee-like" discharge has also increased and I am wondering if there is a connection! I'm going to the doc this week, and I'll let y'all know what occurs. [ SuperB's advice column | Ask SuperB A Question ]

SoNotLegal answered Saturday August 6 2005, 8:12 pm: Maybe you should talk to a doctor about it... it really depends on what the discharge is (it's definitely not pee -- that doesn't come from your vagina). Most likely it's relatively normal, and you should just wear a pantyliner so that you don't get stains on your underwear or pants.

alisonmarie answered Saturday August 6 2005, 5:32 pm: Discharge is normal, as long as it isn't a funny colour or smelling weird. Every woman's vagina has discharge, and most women have enough discharge that some will end up on their underwear by the end of the day.
This will come out in the wash, but if it makes you physically or mentally uncomfortable, you can wear panty liners and just change them throughout the day. [ alisonmarie's advice column | Ask alisonmarie A Question ]
thinkpink03 answered Saturday August 6 2005, 5:19 pm: It's probably discharge. Its perfectly normal! It just means that your body is working properly and if you havent already then your period is probably not too far away!

Teza answered Saturday August 6 2005, 5:14 pm: Thats discharge and its normal. Just wear those light pads so you dont get stains on your undies. But when you get discharge it usually means that you will get your period soon. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
