is it like totally wrong to talk to guys on the internet that you dont know? 'cuz my mom doesnt let me talk to anyone i dont know! and know i'm falling for this guy! what do i do? i wanna keep talking to him!! And my mom would kill me if she found out!

this has happened to me b4. i dont think its really wrong once you get to know them. i mean you never know who they are but, its kinda no big deal really. as long as he doesn't say "im going to rape you" or "wanna have sex" or something like that. if he says that and you don't know him, then i would not talk to him. but if he is nice and kind i dont really see anything wrong.

This guy that you don't know could really be like a 50 year old man trying to trick you into thinking he's a teenager. Scary but true- u can't trust anyone you meet on the internet because you don't know who they really are!

Sorry, but your mom is right! It is very dangerous to talk to guys online!!! You do not know how old they are, where they're from, anything about them-- just because they tell you something, does not mean it is true!! Over 50% of guys online lie to get girls to talk to them. Do you know how many girls have gotten kidnapped by guys they talked to online?? They started out just talking, then the guys hack their computers..they can find out their address, full name, #, social security #..everything!! I'm not trying to sound rude or anything.. it's just I know from personal experiences how dangerous it is and I do not want you to get hurt !!
I hope you take this serious and listen to your mom... she Does know what's best for you..

just d0n't talk t0 him anymore. i know guys can be REALLY persuasive online and make you think that they are somebody that they aren't. Just to save yourself from being hurt or anything at all, stop talking to him. that's what i would do. I'm not a goody goody, so don't think that that's why i would stop talking to him. i would just stop talking to him bc it just sux to fall for someone you don't really know. hope i helped talk you out of it

if your worried about your mom make sure she doesnt find out and if its on AIM/AOL/MSN then i doubt she can find out even if its through email she cant find out

Yes it is. You don't really know them even if they show you their picture. Usually their just men that will talk to you pretending to be teenagers and then they'll ask you to meet them and they'll rape you or kidnap you or something so I think your mother is right when she tells you not to talk to them. I can't control what you do but I'm just giving my advice and advise you to be careful. Hope I helped.

I've talked to several guys too who i haven't known on the internet. I think it's okay as long as you don't just give everything away about yourself and don't meet him unless you're like older. If your mom doesn't approve then i would suggest not talking to him as much. But that's really your decision. Just be safe and you should be fine!!!
