ok .. my dad has changed an hes really ill.. an hes sp mean now an i hate to be around him im only 14 .. an like i really dont want to go with him when its time .. an plus hes a lawyer an i cant talk to him about anything hes not a dad to me anymore ... an my parents our divorced an i dont know what to do im just so upset he hits me an i dont know ... i just dont want to go with him cant i make a choice if i can how ?? please help me???

MY MOM KNOWS SHES TALKED TO MY LAWYER HES NEVER HIT ME REALLY HARD TO LIKE LEAVE ME A BRUISE I JUST NEED TO KNOW IF THERES A CHOICE IF I CAN STAY WITH MY MOM>>>> IM 14 PLEASAE HELP.

I think if he hits you it's a good sign that maybe you should move in with your mom if it's possible. I think the best way to do this is tell your mom and maybe she can take you and your father to court with it.

I would suggest asking your mom to petition the court for custody of you. At 14, the court should take into consideration of where you want to stay. If they ask, make sure to tell them that you want to be with your mom and explain to them why. The fact that your dad is abusive should encourage them to let you stay with your mom.

omg thats so sad tell your mom if he starts to hurt you a lot and bad and your moms not lisening to you cal 1-800-need to talk and they can give you better advice its free and 247 hope i helped please rate high and write back whats going on to tuttcutie and tell me what he does to you and your name please i CAN help i'm 14 too so i know about everything going on the dram at school and at home

tell your mother...tell your closets friends mom or someone you trust. Get help...its called child abuse when he hits you.
