party or not?
I really want to have a party, but the thing is i am kinda afraid of having one. not afraid like afraid of spiders and i am just worried that people might not like it, or think its dumb or whatver i just am too stressed thinkin about it. should i just go ahead with my plan or what? and also, should i have a big party (which was my original plan) or should i just have a small group of my girlfriends and go to a hotel or something? ideas? thanks

Wow, I just love going to parties... now as far as holding them... well, that's a different story. Make sure you have everything you need, refreshments, good, snacks and no drugs or alcohol. Choose the correct people... don't chose druggies or people you hate but think are popular [duh that's a pretty obvious one]. I understand you are nervous about how people are going to like it... if you want, maybe start with a small get together of your closest babes, then add a few guys and few more of your girls. Soon, you'll have a pretty big party. It's your decision where you hold you party, if you want it at your house, maybe outdoors? maybe indoors/outdoors? But make sure it's somewhere pretty comfortable and a place people what feel awkward to act themselves. Make sure that you treat every guest equally and make them all feel comfortable and welcome. well.. dont be nervouse thats the first part.. when i threw my party i kept having to repeat "its gonna be fantastic on an on till i finally got it in my head" You should definatly go through with it cause it will be fun.. of course theres gonna be people that dont like it but what can you do about that .. everyone has their own style
turn on the music and get some decor and lots of food.. and everyone will love it oh and get some movies.. comedy and horror work the best..

Well you should have Hawaiian theme party, it is easy to decorate and easy to get right food for little budget.
and i know how you feel about people might not like it and people might not come, and if you are not real popular then you might also feel what if they talk bad about your party. if you are popular then dont worry about it. but i had same feeling. and that had happened to me. only 2 people came and i wasted bunch of money, of course i felt bad but it wasnt going to stop me from having another party, so i did and next one, my whole class came. so it was fun and so awesome.
so what i am basically trying to say is, invite all the people you want. so what if few people dont come, your friends will be there and you will have fun with them.
and you will never know how many people are willing to come until you actually have a big party so take a risk if you like and dont worry because it will get better later and if you still want to do the hawaiian party theme here it is

2. easy and under teen budget]
3. since its summer and do it like end of summer party thing
food
1. chips and dips
2. HAWAIIAN fruit Punch, you can get like gallons for good price at winndixie or wal mart.
3. if you are good on budget, get coconut shells and use that as cup... (i dont recommend coconut water, because most people would think its nasty)
4. fruits. like pineapple and stuff. cut out with toothpick stuck to them so it will be like Hour D'vours... (i dont think i spell that right but i think you know what i mean)
5. cup cakes are good. and if you can make them do it like green icing and stuff to match the theme
6. chickens..(no reason, just lots of people loves them =)
Cool decors and gifts...
1. Floral necklaces... ya know the ones that they have them out in wal mart right now.
2. those (hawaiian skirt thing)frilly skirt. they also have them at wal mart..
3. lots of fake flowers and palm trees for decor
4. for table decor, you can decorate it like its wearing that hawiaan skirt, like around the table, just stick those with hot glue gun.
and if you have pool it would be better so i hope i helped~

how people react if you need help with decorations
ask your friends for the theme of the party i suggest a masked party or a beach party yours truly L-ANGEL

either way sounds like fun. just dont worry and it it will all be good. the spider thing shouldnt bother other poeple. i used to be very afraid and that never stopped me having a great time. i would go for the big one though. what theme depends really on how old you are...

Both sound great.
If you want to be funn and adventurest have a big party.
If you want to keep it small and feel comfortable... just have your girlfreinds.
The party won't be fun if you are worried if it may be dumb or not. If you do end up having a big one, ask people on advienators what fun party themes and stuff they had... I hope it helped! Rate me please!
