I was a new kid at school last year and I made a few friends, but only hung out with this one girl. She was kind of too stuck up for me, but we only knew eachother so we remained as friends. We were never really close, she wasnt the type that wanted to go and hang out, and I was. Now that she has graduated, I don't have any friends at school. For some reason, its just really hard for me. I just want a couple of friends i can hang out with all the time and who i can tell everything to, but im not very social. Help?

I wanted the same things to, friends, that friend that i can tell everything to and the problem was i wasn't social still Am not. The thing is if you want friends, don't hide in your comfort zone. it might be hard to leave but eventually you have to and i had to if i wanted to make friends and make things easier for myself. it might feel weird at first, but just do something simple like if someone asks for a pencil, if you have one give and then you guys might already be on the road to friendship. thats just an example though but i am pretty sure you know what i mean.

Good luck :D [ Katlyn's advice column | Ask Katlyn A Question ]
