Making friends
I'm really nervous bout starting highschool, especially the meeting new people part. I'm outgoing, but only when im with people that i know. How will i be able to make friends(and i dont mean join clubs and stuff, i mean like talking to ppl). Whats a good way to make conversation. Just please help me, or at least gimme some support. I will rate 5s.

I was nervous on my first day of Highschool. But luckily, I knew some people that had already been there for a year, so it wasn't that bad. It's really easy to make friends. They sort of just come to you from all over, whether they are similar to you, or have nothing in common whatsoever. All you really have to do is be confident. Don't act lost or confused, or hopeless. Try joking around with someone sitting next to you. Or let them get to know you by letting your personality show! =]

Get to know the person who's locker is next to you. Soon enough, you'll get to know the ppl that sit next to you in class. And just be confident and don't be nervous to talk to the ppl that you don't know. Talk to them about music and things that you like. hope i helped a bit!

i know what you mean hunny! well just be yourself and it will all fall into place. other peoplewill be feelin the exact same as you so they will be lookin around at the people to see who they can talk to. if you see someone on their own then go up an talk to them. ask them if thet are ok and then just take it from there. people hate awkward silences so they aren't just going to ignore you and will start talking back. its likely that once your here you will forget about all your worrying and you will find that your having no problems talking to people and people are coming to talk to you.

yeah i*m going into highschool too n i*m nervous myself. I plan on just still hanging out with the friends i made in middle school and then make random small talk with kids in the classes i have. Also if your planning on doing sports or anything then you*ll deff. make new friends. alright, im here to help you. try to act like your outgoing to ppl you dont know. if you see a few people at the lunch tables then say hi, can i sit here. or in between classes go up to someone and say, hey, arnt you in my english class? just be friendly to everyone. they should like you. if you need anymore support then just drop it in my inbox. : ) leah
