why is virginity and breaking virginity such a big deal? like oh, you had sex for your first time. whats so big about taht? all it is is having sex except the first time. im serious can someone tell me why this is so big?

I think it's because you give yourself away to this person. Since it's your first time, it's suppose to be special and it's suppose to be with someone you love. If you love and care about this person it's going to be a big deal to lose your virginity to them. But if you're just having sex for the first time just because you want to say you're not a virgin anymore, it's the wrong way to do it. It should be with someone you love, not someone you have no feelings for.

i think its such a big deal to some people because it means that youve gone farther then most teenagers but it really isnt a big deal i mean if you felt sinceer with the person then whats the big deal hope i helped

well usually people want to loose their virginity w/someone special. like their first time should be special so they think they should wait till after marriage because then they'll be ready and they know that the person they married is who they will be spending the rest of their life w/...! hope i helped
