Well you need to spen all the time you can with him..um maybe you can cook for him..or you guys can spend a day with each other..or you couild some thing fun..you no maybe u can go to a theme park..you dont wont to spend the last days with him mopping around with him..so go have fun with him..get out there..you guys can go to dinner or something like that..just have fun..

Make him a scrapbook of all the memories you both had together. Take a picture of you two and frame it and just write him a letter saying that you will miss him && that you will love him no matter what.

Um.... It depends on what he's into. You could take some stuff for his dorm room and personalize it for him. LIke take a group pix of his class, blow it up, get everyone to sign it, and get it framed. Or.. if that's not his thing, then make him a cd to listen to when he studies or is having a bad day. some of his fave songs and stuff.

Get some cool stuff for his dorm! You know, furniture items, etc. Like one of those squishy pillows. Those are good.
