I kinda forgot my moms birthday... what should I buy her? She's really athletic and she travels a lot. They don't have to be in those categories but if it helps... then okay. And it can't be too expensive either, like under 30 bucks.

Maybe try making a big card full of a collage of things that she likes (travel pictures, sports articles, etc.). Now you have made something that will be meaningful. But wait, you still have the $30! Next time you head to the mall, find her favorite store and get her a $20-30 gift certificate. Stores like Old Navy, and Gap are ones you can't go wrong with, all moms practicaly love them because of the low prices and simple clothing. Now all your money is spent, what else can you do? Look around your kitchen for cake mix and bake a cake for her, decorate it to say something like "I love you mom, happy birthday!". I guarentee with these gifts you won't have to do chores for weeks.
