♥12 is a young age to even think about using tongue, but I think it's okay in your situation because you and him have been dating for 2 and a half years, good job with that. It's really up to you, i'm pretty sure that your boyfriend will be okay with this, but just be sure and maybe ask him. If it feels akward asking him, when you go to kiss normally just do it and try and catch his reaction, if he takes your lead, go for it, if not, he isn't ready.
