I hate the word: diet. Whenever I try to go on one, I always am thinking more and more about the food I CANT eat and then I want it even more. I want to lose 10-15 pounds and keep it off. I started running a mile every morning and eating more fruits and veggies. If there is any more tips that anyone could help me with... that be great!

Well what you already started doing sounds really good ; so I'd just keep going with that. But what I'd also do is have your mom buy foods but with reduced fat and stuff like that, or just not buy them at all. But just make a mental note for yourself," No bad foods.." and repeat that to yourself and just picture yourself and what you'll look like whenever you're done =) And to keept it off, just everytime you look at something, look at all the fat and sugar's and how high it is. well you should just keep doing what your doing...you should also maybe throw out the food you dont want to eat, bad food wise, and then just eat whatever you have left. Try not to get the McDonalds food, or any fast food. Set a goal for yourself. Like for instance, Say you wanted to loose 10-15 pounds in 5 days. Make a note to yourself saying you want to do that in 5 days.

The only advice I can give you is to have patience. Running a mile regularly will burn off fat but it will also increase your metabolism allowing you to eat more yet gain no weight and eating fruits and vegs will give you a more balanced diet which will lower your hunger.

well i went on this one diet and it worked really well it last for two and 1/2 months ok what you do is you have to either eat a half of a grapefruit or have a glass of grapefruit juice with everymeal plus two bottles of water now with every meal you have a to have a vegey and a peice of meat except for breakfast so ill tell you somethings i did for breakfast everyday i ate either one boiled egg or scrambled a peice of cheeze and a grapefruit and tow bottles of water( it doesnt sound like much but defently filled me up) then lunch time came around and i ate like two hotdogs or a hamburger ( no buns sorry) a grapefruit and a salad also you can eat whatever dressing you want and eat salad until you fill up like until you cant eat anymore then for dinner you can eat like hamburgers steaks whatever kind of meat and you have to eat sum kind of vegie or a salad! except for corn no corn defently fatening the only problem is that you have to cook alot with this diet......so anyway if you have any questiond on this diet cause idk if i explained this good enough or not but you can defently email me or IM me on aim

i hope this helps it a great diet it works wonderful its sumthing with the grapefruit it speeds up your matabalism also keep exerciseing with the diet then you will lose more faster and keep it off!!!!!!

SAME HERE girl.. =( well.. just dont buy the junk food and keep doing that mile.. and maybe ask a friend to start working out with you and going on the diet with you too? because then you could both help eachother..

eat 5 SMALL meals a day, thats what my dad does and hes lost a LOT of weight. just continue running and eating healthy.

What I would do is get a copy of the food pyramid off the internet and circle all the things that aren't fattening, so you could just eat those specific foods. Try swimming since it's summer time and you should also try kick boxing, my mom says it's really fun and helps get all your anger out.
