Even though I get enough sleep I get dark circles under my eyes in the morning an dthey stay until late afternoon. Do you know what causes it and/or what I can do about it?
azngemini answered Thursday June 30 2005, 7:41 pm: i heard that dark circles can sometimes be hereditary, and that it can be caused by bad nutrition. so to give rid of them, try eating more fruits and vegetables. and also there are a lot of things you can buy over-the-counter that can help you out. I haven't tried any of them tho, but I have this eye mask that I bought from bath and body works that says that it can help get rid of the dark circles. I'm not sure if they sell it anymore, but there are other eye masks that say the same things...

So obviously, getting an appRopRiate amount of sleep is an impoRtant thing, and be shoRe to dRink plenty of wateR. Also, tRy applying cool cucumbeR slices oR cool tea bags to the undeR-eye aRea, which helps to Reduce swelling. I've also heaRd that placing a fRozen spoon undeR youR eye will minimize the daRk ciRcles. PeRsonally, I've neveR done this, but I have seen it on movies, so you might as well give it a shot. To avoid dRawing attention to youR undeR-eye aRea, peRhaps you should avoid the use of eyelineR oR mascaRa to youR loweR lashes. Goodluck to you! I hope I helped!!
