hi, i really like doing creative writing exercises and stuff to help me get ideas. i've been on the internet looking and was just wondering if anyone had any they could share with me? Thank you
NanakiBH answered Thursday June 30 2005, 11:06 pm: Listening to music usually helps me. Lyrics can be pretty inspirational. One of my personal favorites is Clay Aiken. Crazy, but his lyrics are amazing.
mushoku answered Wednesday June 29 2005, 1:06 pm: Here's one for you - I'll give you a few words/phrases/whatevers, and you will read one of them, then write whatever comes into mind. And you'll keep your pen moving (or fingers typing) for at least 2 minutes. Then, when you're ready, you'll read the next and do the same. Wash, rinse, repeat. Some of them won't be that great, but whatever. This is how we started our creative writing class every evening a couple years ago. (well, one per night, that is)
