Well,if by being born into fame you mean certain singers who are related to other singers(i.e. Whitney Houston being Dionne Warwick's cousin,Ashlee Simpson being Jessica's little sis,Omarion being Marques Houston's little bro, etc),that one is just a given,it's the old, knowing the right people.

Other singers all have different stories. Some have family or friends who recognized their talent early and put them in vocal training, dance lessons, etc. and then went so far as to move away to NY or California in order to find an agent, manager, and get a demo cut in order to be shopped around to labels.

Others have gone the route of making themselves known on the local circuit, meaning performing in church,at local talent shows, festivals, any chance they could get. And there are some who just were in the right place at the right time, they were able to meet an industry big-wig and get noticed fairly quickly. Most of the time tho, you're looking at a lot of hard work and tiredless effort.I think you'll find that all the singers today have such different stories on how they were discovered!I hope this answers your question hunnie, any more, you know where to find me!! :)

well.....theres pretty much no singers that were born into fame. no one can sing when theyre born. closest to that are mary-kate and ashley. but they cant sing at all!they were born int oacting fame. i hope that answers your question.
p.s. when youre old enough go on american idol to become famous. that is if you think you got it.

They start taking singing lessons when they are very young...about 7-8 at the oldest...on a rare occasion a totally musical genius might start at about 10 or 11 to build up their voices. The singers that become famous usually are recommended by their voice coaches to great universities like the Bozarcs (France) or the Royal Academy (England) or Julliard (New York). If they prove to be exceptional, they move on from there.

If you're talking about rock/pop stars, usually they start out as popular singers in their clubs. or other minor places then some record producer finds out about them and offers them a record deal. For example Madonna was a homeless person in New York then she started a band and performed at clubs. then this guy offered her a record deal and then she became famous.

They get out and do things that allow people in the public to hear their singing. Eventually someone in the music industry will hear them and give them a chance. They succeed in getting signed, and get screwed in a record deal. Well, not all of them... some get really good deals, but alot get less than 0.1% (that's less than a penny per $10) off of the profits.

Well Jojo, she went on Star Search and she was on 'kids say the darndest things' She just got involved in alot of things and then she got discovered by a record dealer! Kelly Clarkson was on american idol along with clay aiken, and carrie underwood! Britney Spears wasnt born into singing, she started off as a dancer on the mickey mouse club and then worked her way from there! Christina Aguilera sang on the mickey mouse club, and she got discovered from there!

Seriously, I can't think of one singer that was born famous. Who are you talking about?

They all got there by years of hard work, but mostly by a lot of luck. Singers that are "new" this year and win best new artist awards are really not new. Most of them have been at it for years, and then finally get discovered. The chances of you becoming famous are slim to none. Many of the most famous singers can't even sing, it's all marketing.

this is a cool question! ok... well the people born into fame get it easy because they don't have to work as hard as all the other people in hollywood. But the people who weren't born into fame have a harder time. How they get famous is they get singing teachers, to make their voices to there best. Then they find little playhouses everywhere and perform in those. Also they sometimes get agents and go to tryouts. So then like other people see them and like them. AND THEY BECOME FAMOUS!
