Anniversary

Question Posted Thursday June 23 2005, 6:40 pm

My boyfriend and I are celebrating our 2 year anniversary next month. Any ideas on what to get for him? I want to get him something nice and special, but he doesn't wear jewelry and he already has a really nice watch. What should I do?

If you'd like to get him a stoRe bought gift, tRy keepin' it simple. SpRing foR some posteRs, a leatheR jacket, nice cologne, a gift caRd, a nintendo system, oR some DVD's. Also, if he dRives... definitely go foR a *GAS CARD*. Those aRe pRicey, but you also neveR mentioned youR age, which kind of gives me nothing to go on heRe. You could always take him to a fancy dinneR. OR you could MAKE him dinneR!! If you'Re up to the challenge, you could tRy stuffed chicken bReasts with potatoes of some soRt with a fResh gaRden salad and sundaes foR desseRt! Ooooh, oR LASAGNA!! And if you wanna get cReative, how 'bout you just go to the paRk?? BRing a blanket and some music! And pack a picnic lunch, which doesn't have to be difficult. It can consist of tuRkey sandwiches on slice bRead, gRapes, wateRmelon, pRetzels, twinkies etc. And make shoRe you bRing a cRap load of bRead to feed the duckies!! -OR- anotheR suggestion... you could always make him a posteR oR a scRapbook. You could use maRkeRs, photogRaphs, quotes and so on. How about making him some soRt of little quilt with pRotective cleaR pockets that you can inseRt pictuRes into, and take them out to wash easily. Bottom line, it's the thought that counts, and whateveR you do I'm shoRe he'll love!! Just be cReative and have fun!! :D

Try to find something that may appeal to him. The smaller things can sometimes mean more but still... try to find something that may appeal to the type of person he is. Through this gift, it may portray what you also think what type of person he is and that come sometimes be special when you know what you're doing. Don't overwhelm yourself because then you'll just waste all your energy for nothing. Save it for when you give it to him... trust me, hun, any other way you're going to need it all. Try to find something that appeals to him... it could be something that he is very passionate about... like a view point or a sport. Just find the gift that fits him and you'll be alright. Hope I was some help and goodluck .
