Don't understand

Question Posted Friday June 10 2005, 8:25 pm

How can someone say they love you they are sorry for hurting you and yet tell you they are leaveing you all in the same sentence. I am 42 years old female. Some friends of ours at the time told me he was sleeping with our friends wife. he denies everything and says they are liying.. but he continues to work for them everyday.. he has gotten where he acts as if he don't care about anything anymore..

Sounds to me as if he could be depressed. You should know if his word is good or not. If he is trustworthy then take him at his word. As far as getting him back goes, give him some time. I think you should encourage him to go to a doctor and get checked out for depression. Hopefully if he still loves you he will realize leaving is the wrong thing to do. Write him a letter and tell him everything you are thinking. Maybe he will see things differently. Good luck. :)

um....'mame i dont know if you want an advice from 14 year old girl, but i think i know what you are going through because i know this one lady who is same age as you and her husband is doing kinda same thing.. well its kinda hard for me to give advice to you since you know the age difference so i am going to give you advice as if you were teen ager with boy problem... if its ok...

well ... FIrst Of All YOU DESERVE MUCH BETTER THAN THAT!!! and you know that there are better person who wont do all those things to you. and well my friend's father said he was sorry for all kinds of BSs and he didnt mean all that, he was just trying to say something to save his behind and Sorrys are just mear words

and you really deserve much better than that.

and it seems like your instincts are right...and it probably is...so trust your guts and SPEAK FOR YOUR OPINION!

i know if you have kids and all that its hard, but thats no excuse. Some kids are actually GLAD that their parents are divorced because they wont see one of their parent getting hurt.

so if you do have kids, talk to them, and tell them and have talk heart to heart...

i know that i am just a kid but i do really mean all those..so i hope it works out for you.

and May the blessings of the world be with you
