If you don't mind having a "quick fix", and know how to use a needle, you can take it in yourself. Pinch the material inward on the seam and pin it. Baste the fold tight to the waist of the skirt, and you should be set. I warn you that this won't look as good as a professional, but it should be fine if you're wearing something over it, and you can always take out your stitches later and let someone else do a better job.

But if that doesn't work is your skirt a jean skirt or just like regular material? If its like regular material why don't you try folding it so it will look shorter, and tye a rubberband around the excess material so it isn't as huge on you. Kinda sounds like a bad idea, but try it and find out. [ AcousticxLullabies's advice column | Ask AcousticxLullabies A Question ]

I think that you should go to a tailor and have them slim down the size to fit you just right. I hope I helped! [ partygurl24's advice column | Ask partygurl24 A Question ]
