This is your typical situation, I fell for my best friend. Guy, I'm straight. I never meant to fall for him, neither did I really want to, but I did. I'm pretty sure he likes me back, the thing is he's quite..self-kept, and you know all guys run from feelings. Well, to me anyways. There's also another major problem, I moved a few years back and so now we're seperated by land and water aka, I'm in a different country than he is studying. I fall hard when I fall, I'm just not too sure what to do now. Should I still wait? Because I definitely have been waiting a really long time, anybody have any similar situations happen to them and would like to share their advice? I'm 14 btw.

And i'm happy 2 say we've been in a relationship now for about 2 and 1/2 years!! So if i can wait so can you! Time will go way faster than you think!!
icey0990 answered Tuesday June 7 2005, 11:32 pm: well this is kind of similar but not totally...
i had a really close relationship with a great guy..we broke up..then he moved 800 miles away and i probably wont see him again (this was when i was 14...im now 16 and i still cant forget him)
its hard..and i still miss him..but i had to learn and accept it that we will probably never see each other again..and it was very hard for me..
my advice is to try and move on..your 14...its not like your 18 or 20 something and you can hop on a plane and move back . if you were an adult i would tell you to move back , claim your love, etc..but its no reality at 14 because your still living with your family. this is one of the hardest things you will have to do..but i say move on.. In the end one of you is going to end up getting hurt really bad. Best friends are meant to stay best friends but you just cant help it. Long distance realationships rarely work out so I personally think that you should wait. I mean once you get a little bit older you will relize and maybe one day you both can be together. You just need to let him know how you feel and tell him that you have feelings for him. I mean you will always stay best friends no matter what and you could try to start a relationship just make sure things never change between you too. ♥ [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
