Maths homework How do you work out the area of a circle from its radius?

A= pie times the radius squared ]
You simply multiply 3.14 (pi) times the radius squared.
Example...
Let's say the radius is 5.
5 squared equals 25, right?
5 times 3.14 equals...15.7
Ta-da!
